چکیده
Abstract Knowledge of the soil water regime in a dynamic equilibrium condition (steady state) emitter–soil–plant system is essential to evaluate adopted irrigation management, aiming maximize use efficiency irrigation. Thus, our objective was determine integrated effect four levels on moisture (θ v ) distribution pattern, mechanical penetration resistance (PR), and sugarcane rooting. Irrigation were established based percentage reference evapotranspiration (ETo), as follows: 40% (W1), 70% (W2), 100% (W3), 130% (W4) ETo. From profile PR versus θ regression models, profiles for each level estimated. At end crop cycle, trenches opened assess root system. According results, resulted soil-wetting pattern that did not match rooting profile. For treatments W3 W4 wetting indicated loss through deep percolation. all considering entire profile, values ranged from < 2 10 MPa. Also, roots superficially spread limited first 0.35 m depth depths applied. Although by reduced strength cohesive layer, this reduction insufficient allow deepening plant roots. The su garcane development region defined value approximately equal 2.0

متن کاملStudy of Changes in Soil Moisture and Salinity Under PlasticMulch and Drip Irrigation in Pistachio Trees
In this study, changes in soil moisture and salinity contents in drip irrigation combined with white and black plastic mulches compared to no mulch (control) was evaluated. The experiment was carried out in two commercial pistachio orchards (Ohadi cultivar) with irrigation frequencies of 8 to 12 days with a total water consumption 4100 and 6170 m3ha−1. The study was conducted in a complete rand...
متن کاملEffects of salinity and irrigation water management on soil and tomato in drip irrigation
In this research, the effects of irrigation with saline and fresh water through drip irrigation method and using two irrigation management strategies: M1, M2 (M1 is irrigation with fresh water in alternative with saline water, M2 is saline water in first half time of each irrigation event and fresh water in the second half), on the yield, water productivity (WP), soil salinity, plant height...
متن کاملSoil particle size distribution and its relationship with soil water and salt under mulched drip irrigation in Xinjiang of China
Soil particle size distribution (PSD), one of the most important soil physical attributes, is of great importance to soil water movement, soil erosion and soil solute migration. In this study, the soil PSD of 563 soil samples from the mulched drip irrigated cotton fields in Xinjiang of China were measured by laser diffraction particle size analyzer. The soil PSD characteristics and its relation...
متن کاملChanges of soil microbial characteristics in saline-sodic soils under drip irrigation
A field experiment was carried out to study the changes of soil bacteria, fungi and actinomycetes in saline-sodic soils for different numbers of cultivated years under drip irrigation. The drip irrigation had substantial effects on levels of bacteria, fungi and actinomycetes. With increased number of cultivated years under drip irrigation, the soil biological properties were greatly improved. A...
